EtchRock has recently got the chance to catch up with Dave de Vries, the founder of CrossXvest EVO to talk about his new product and why it is going to revolutionise the training tool industry. So what is the CrossXvest? The CrossXvest EVO is a compact, breathable and adjustable weight vest. Designed around the presence of athletes, adventurers, coaches and trainers, it’s more than a weight vest. It’s your ideal workout buddy with a revolutionary built-in hydration system, and it does things other fitness machines or tools can’t.
When we asked Dave what the difference is between a normal weight vest and the CrossXvest he mentioned that regular weight vests aren’t innovative, adjustable and don’t have a built-in hydration system. The CrossXvest is one AWESOME piece of equipment, you’ll look for excuses to train more often. Clearly brimming with enthusiasm, Dave set his sights on testing his new product in the most extreme conditions & along side some elite athletes. His travels took him across the Swiss, Spanish & Scottish mountains to test its durability, comfort & application and he couldn’t have been more happy with the results.
Dave explains that the purpose of the CrossXvest is first and foremost about the connection between the product and the people who love to train – and the people who want more results, freedom and bigger challenges. He even enlisted the help of Isaac Caldiero, the winner of the first American Ninja Warrior to test the vest in what can only be described as ‘extreme conditions’. The outcome? Isaac says, “The CrossXvest is the most evolutionary training tool of all time for grip strength, power and endurance”.
