I am taking part in the inaugural Amazing Northampton Run (Half Marathon).  I will be one of thousands to experience the brand new 13.1 mile closed-road half marathon route through beautiful parks, along the riverside, past great sporting venues and amazing architecture.

The run is supporting nearly 30 charity partners, fundraising for a whole host of local and national causes. 

This is a completely off the cuff challenge, just decided to run and have done absolutely no training whatsoever, but if I have the chance to raise money the one of the best charities' in Northampton then why wouldn't I.   This will be my challenge and hopefully will not pick up any injuries trying to complete in a good time.

the lowdown is a voluntary Mental Health charity, providing free and confidential counselling, emotional wellbeing, health  services for 11-25 year olds.

I worked there for 5 years many years ago and its actually what helped me move out of working in factories and agency jobs to a career working with disadvantaged and socially excluded children.  I now work in health supporting others and really value the work of this charity, please get behind them and get behind supporting me raise money for them.
