Thanks for supporting my fundraising!
Northampton Town FC Community Trust was formed in as a registered charity in 2001 to further the impact being made in the local community - encouraging participation in sport, providing educational opportunities, improving health and wellbeing and promoting inclusivity, equality and diversity. Since the charity’s inception, it has invested over £2 million into the local community and supports over 1000 people every single week. We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2026.
We work in primary and secondary schools to work to improve confidence, self esteem, resilience and behaviour and to improve the standard of attendance, attainment and behaviour for the most vulnerable students. Our links to Northampton Town Football Club also allows us to arrange player visits for our partner schools.
Funded by the Premier League, our free Premier League Kicks programme uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential in some of the most high need areas of the county.
Our popular disability programmes include our multi-disability football club, downs syndrome football, cerebral palsy football and powerchair football.
We also run a number of health and wellbeing programmes that help individuals lose weight, get healthier and enjoy football while also providing free NHS health checks and walking football sessions.
Our successful women's and girls' football pathway includes a player development centre and an emerging talent centre and we run sessions for all ages from our 5-11 Wildcats sessions through to our Northampton Town FC Women first team.
We also run employability programmes including the National Citizenship Service, which provides life and employment opportunities for 16-18 year olds and a volunteer coaching academy, which equips 16-40 year olds with the knowledge and skills to support their journey into sports coaching.
When they do their posts will show up here.
