After attending a gender scan at 16 weeks, we found out we had low amniotic fluid around our little baby, we went back for another gender scan a few days later, we got advised to see a specialist, which we did, to find out our precious little baby was growing with no kidneys & the bladder couldn’t been seen (a rare condition called Renal Agenisis), we got told our baby would not survive outside the womb, for any parent to hear them words it’s heartbreaking. We had to make the hardest but kindest decision for our precious little baby to be induced & deliver our little angel 👼🏻
At 18 weeks & 1 day,
On the 28th April 2021,
At 15:43pm we delivered our gorgeous little boy
Brody Beeney 💙
weighing 150g,
you were perfect & our little unique baby boy, 👼🏻🤍
Me, your Mum & your brothers love you so much & you will always be with us 👼🏻🤍
A massive thanks to the midwife Hannah for the amazing care given to us at KGH who helped us through it all & whatever wishes we wanted she let us have them & also our little memory box for Brody 🤍 We also had a lovely bereavement midwife called Carolyn that was amazing by checking up on us to see how we are.
I am therefore continuing to raise money in memory of our little boy to help the Northamptonshire Health Charity Twinkling Stars Appeal in their bit to set up a new Bereavement Suite for parents that go through the loss of their baby so it’s not on the labour ward where it is at the minute.
Thank you for reading and supporting my fundraising. We would love for people to donate to this cause to help other parents in the future going through this tough time
