Thanks for supporting my fundraising, 

I am doing this run in our old UK home town of Northampton as a final training run before running the following weekend in my first ever Marathon and thought it would be a great idea to raise some money at the same time for a very worthy UK charity and cause that would resonate with many people who have at some point struggled with mental illness at some point in their lives.

My son has also entered this event and going to train up and run the 6.9 miles for the same worthy charity.

Veterans With Dogs is a charity that trains and provides Assistance Dogs for current and former members of the British Armed Forces with service-related mental health conditions, specialise in providing trained Assistance Dogs for Veterans who have PTSD and their goal is to improve their quality of life and help current and former members of the British Armed Forces lead independent lives by training those Assistance Dogs in task-specific skills.
