Story
Thanks for supporting my fundraising for Tenovus Cancer Care. Together, we stand strong for anyone affected by cancer today, tomorrow, and always.
This year, I’m not just running the Snowdonia Marathon, I’m once again charging into battle as Leonidas himself. Clad in 10kg of Spartan armour, complete with shield, helmet, and spear, I’ll take on the rugged, breathtaking Welsh terrain with the spirit of a warrior. Every step will be a fight not just for glory, but for hope (and yes, my alter ego gets to make another dramatic entrance).
As many of you know, I’ve conquered this distance before. But in full Spartan gear, it becomes a true test of endurance. Every hill especially that final, brutal climb when fatigue takes hold will be my Thermopylae. So join me in this epic quest, donate what you can and help turn every mile into a lifeline because no one should face cancer alone.
Interesting fact: Tenovus Cancer Care was born in 1943 when ten local businessmen, literally “ten of us”, came together to help a friend in need. What started as a simple act of kindness grew into a powerful force for cancer support and research across Wales and beyond. Checkout what they do today, I was genuinely blown away by their mobile support units, which bring vital care directly into communities especially for those who struggle with travel.
