I'm doing the Croyde Tri this year to raise funds for Plastic Free North Devon and Warmley Wheelers. 

Plastic Free North Devon is a local Devon environmental charity on a mission to protect and improve our environment through community-led action. By connecting people with their natural surroundings through experience and education; supporting sustainable behaviour change and promoting environmental action they hope to deliver a radical transformation towards a healthier relationship with the natural world.

Warmley Wheelers is a cycling scheme that gives everyone a chance to get into cycling - a sport which has become close to my heart and I truly believe has the power to transform lives. Set up in 2014, this local Bristol scheme provides cycling opportunities for people with health conditions and supported needs. Relying on donations and volunteers, they offer specialist equipment and a safe, friendly environment to assist people who would normally find it difficult to ride a bike. Croyde was my first triathlon and being set in a location packed with memories, there are many reasons why it has become one of my favourite events. It would be special to raise funds for some amazing causes where your donations will make a real tangible difference.

The course has thrown storms and heat waves at me so far... let's see what this year has in store!
