Thanks for supporting my fundraising!

Having never run an Ultra Marathon I signed up for this one blindly with 5 others with a view to raising awareness for PTSD999. 

Since signing up, I’ve completed my first half Marathon and a trail Marathon across the Brecon Beacons (thanks Trev) in preparation for this Ultra and to raise a little more awareness for PTSD 999.

Many people in the emergency services deal with unimaginable incidents every shift, they don’t often have time to process these incidents before moving on to the next which builds up over time. Due to nature of these incidents experienced the emergency service personnel often don’t talk about what they’ve experienced which sometimes leads to their mental health suffering and might be the only place they feel they can get help, so in my mind this is a cause well worth supporting! 

We are the only organisation in the UK that supports all members of the emergency services, both serving and retired, voluntary, family and friends. PTSD999 is completely independent and funded by private donations, sales through the shop and service or products.
