Play In The Wild UK will take you on a Guided Run, aimed at all levels of trail runner - from beginners to experienced, nestled in the valleys of the Chilterns Hills, approx. 45 mins from London. This run offers a wide range of terrains, with some rolling hills to practice some hill running techniques.

The run sets off from West Wycombe, before venturing through the mixture of trails, taking in the beautiful surrounding villages and heading over to Turville, the home to many TV and film settings, including Vicar of Dibley, Midsomer Murders and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

This is a looped route, of approximately 16miles/26km, with a number of gradual climbs on the route, but rewarded with equally beautiful expansive views across the valleys and delightful descents.

PACE

We'll be aiming for a sociable pace for all. We will run as a group leaving no one behind, but experience of hills would be beneficial. You are welcome to try and push yourselves to the top of the hills or find that low gear and keep it steady, but we will wait for all at the top of the hills and carry on together.

Allow 3.5 hours for the run itself, as conditions may vary.

KIT

Please make sure you have the right kit for this run; trail running shoes, some layers and waterproofs if the weather requires it. Please bring some water; snacks (always) recommended. *Please also bring your own hand sanitiser, as part of our requirement to run, as there may be several gates on route.
