York – Leeds – York, is one of the biggest spring season sportives in the UK attracting 1000’s of riders to tackle one of the three route options.
Departing from Murton to the east of the York, you will head toward the historic city, crossing the River Ouse at the Millennium Bridge; then cycling past The Knavesmire, York’s famous racecourse before heading onto some stunning little country roads in the direction of Leeds.
There are 3 route choices, the short at 41 miles, the medium at 72 miles and the long at 100 miles.
There is a route choice to suit all abilities in this spring event, whether it’s your first sportive or you love a 100m challenge we have a route to suit you.
A major headline on the medium and long routes is our visit to Harewood house, a real coup for a Sportive. Harewood hosted the Grand Depart of the 2014 Tour de France and is spectacular to cycle through.
