Tavistock Triathlon uses the amazing Olympic legacy 50m pool at Mount Kelly. It’s not just 50m’s long but has wide 3m lanes. We also use the 25m pool next door for our mini tri for ages 5-7 (they swim one length)
The bike is on quiet rolling roads & the final run uses the old railway line.
The transition area & Tristars bike & run routes are in the stunning grounds of Mount Kelly College. The bike & run courses are mainly on grass around the grounds.

Organiser
Our mission is to deliver excellent endurance sports events to a wide range of ages & abilities. Our events include triathlons & duathlons, open water swimming, gravel and road cycling sportives & road & trail running races.
We work #CENSOR# delivering excellent events. And that is a challenge as no venue is perfect and dealing with landowners, traffic, councils, the general public & other stakeholders can be tough.
In October 2020 we moved some running races, previously co-organised as part of the Wild Night Run Series, under the Sportiva umbrella. And in August 2021 we acquired some cycling sportives, previously run by Just Event. Like all event organisers we’ve had a tough couple of years with the pandemic but are hoping for a return to near-normality in 2022.
We couldn’t deliver these events without a great team of people including Helen Simcoe Walker, Nigel Evans, Dawn Lamerton, Rachel Harvey & Tim Mockford.
