Swindon "Trail" Half Marathon

Second time lucky...?

I have decided to give this half marathon event another try. Hopefully with more entrants this year...!

This route, starting and finishing at Lydiard Park, has been devised, to reduce road crossings and built up areas. 

Taking in some of West Swindons cycle lanes, upon leaving Lydiard, runners will then join up with the Ultra marathon route by the Iceland warehouse. Taking them through Mannington park, Shaw Forest park and along the old Purton Canal, by Moulden Hill.

A busy road crossing to get you in to Purton and along the Fox, then past Purton Cricket Club and in to Lydiard Millicent, where you follow the trail, back in to Lydiard Park.

There will be a nice eco friendly for all finishers, with an option to purchase a T-shirt or plant a tree as well.
