About the event

GUIDED TRAIL RUNS | WORKSHOPS | TALKS | COACHING | PARTIES | MUSIC | CAMPFIRE | WILD SWIMMING | BYO BEER | BREAKFAST AND DINNER INCLUDED

Join Running Adventures for a brilliant weekend of trail running and and laughter in the Brecon Beacons in Wales. We will be staying in the heart of 'waterfall country' with stunning forests, waterways and mountains to explore. All our runs will start and finish at our Summer Camp site, so we have the perfect setting for a great weekend of trail running and socialising.

Running Adventures Summer Camp will be a low key, intimate mini festival of running. Spend a weekend in the company of like minded people, enjoying the trails, learning new skills and socialising in beautiful surroundings.

Each day will offer at least one guided trail running adventure to join, with a variety of distances available to choose from. There will also be an itinerary of trail technique workshops to join, and plenty of talks and stories throughout the weekend. As each day winds down we will enjoy some lovely home made food, and maybe the odd drink or two, some time to relax and a party in the evening for those with some energy to burn.

Our runs will cover some stunning scenery, this area is famous for it's waterfalls, and you will get a chance to visit many of them throughout the weekend.

All runs and sessions will be taken by qualified and experienced guides and coaches. We will run at a social pace and walk the hills and mountain slopes if we have to. This is not a race! We will stay as a group so if you are a faster runner, please expect to run slower than you would normally.

Previous trail running experience is not necessary. The terrain will vary hugely, with some very technical, rocky, trails. We will hike some sections and run some sections. Don't worry, we will be on hand to coach you and show you the techniques needed to run on such terrain. If you are unsure about anything, please contact me to discuss.
