Join us for a special screening of the award-winning documentary Skid Row Marathon.
When a criminal court judge starts a running club on Skid Row Los Angeles and trains a group of homeless people to run marathons, lives begin to change. Four runners rise from the mean streets of LA to run marathons around the world, fighting the pull of homelessness and addiction at every turn. Their story is one of hope, friendship, and dignity.
After the film, stay for a panel discussion with filmmakers Mark and Gabi Hayes, Judge Craig Mitchell and former homeless runner Ben Shirley from Los Angeles.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support The Skid Row Running Club in Los Angeles which helps homeless people through running and mentoring.
