About the event

On this weekend getaway in the Alps we feature stunning trail runs through alpine meadows covered with a kaleidoscope of wild flowers and breathtaking views over the Mont Blanc Massif. Saint Gervais Les Bains is a beautiful alpine French town, with its cute cafe’s and bakeries, located at the foot of Mont Blanc. It’s famous for its thermal springs, Tramway du Mont Blanc (used by climbers looking to summit the mountain) and its vast area of alpine meadows which are popular for skiing in winter. You will be staying at the brand new Le Saint Gervais Hotel.

This is a great follow on trip for those that have completed our Introduction to the Alps or Running & Yoga trips, but you don’t need any prior experience of running in the Alps to take part. You will be on the trails both mornings and we will be featuring a cultural visit to a local cheese farm on one of the days, plus providing the opportunity to stop off at one of the mountain buvettes for refreshments. We will use the cable car to get up the mountain which provides access to some breathtaking trails. Following your run on Saturday there will be a yoga class which will be tailored for trail runners and suitable for all levels.

Our experienced trail running guides will be offering trail running techniques to enable you to run more confidently in this alpine environment. On the Friday evening the group meets for dinner with the Run the Wild Team at the hotel. It’s a great weekend to make new friends and enjoy alpine trail running at its best. As with all Run the Wild holidays, all you have to do is book your flights, turn up and run – we will take care of the rest!

A deposit of £175 is taken at the time of sign-up with the balance taken 6 weeks before the trip is due to start. Let us know if you prefer to schedule payments following your deposit.
