Peak District - Golden Trail Championships Route

Join Running Adventures for this stunning Peak District trail running guided adventure. We will start our adventure in Castleton, immediately heading through Cave Dale, a spectacular trail which will set the tone for the rest of the day. Our route will take in some of the best trails that the Peak District has to offer and we will take our time to enjoy the stunning views and scenery. We will end our run back in Castleton, with time to grab a quick pint before saying our goodbyes.

Starting and finishing in Castleton, this stunning route was set up as a Golden Trail Segment by Salomon, after the UK Golden Trail Series was sadly cancelled due to COVID-19. These Golden Trail Segments have been set up across the world, giving runners the chance to challenge themselves and potentially get invited to the Golden Trail Championships, later this year. 

As a Salomon ambassador, I'm keen to show people this incredible route in all it's glory. We won't be racing, we will be taking our time and enjoying these trails at a social pace. We may even manage to stop for an ice cream en route somewhere.

All participants will get a Salomon gift and you will have plenty of opportunities to have all your trail running questions answered.

Pace: This is not a race! We will run as a group and share this experience together. You should be able to run between 10-11 min/miles (6-7 min/km) and have a good level of fitness.
