About the events

Starting and finishing by the beach of Studland Bay, this challenging and hilly 30 mile ultra run will take you on a wonderful tour of the Jurassic Coast and Isle of Purbeck.

You will be guided by myself, an experienced ultra runner, running coach and Salomon ambassador. This run will be very hilly, with elevation of 4600ft/1400m, so not for the feint hearted. The route is taken care of and you will get the chance to learn from an experienced ultra runner, and get any running questions you may have answered.

We begin our run by venturing inland along the renowned Purbeck Way, traversing the path of history towards the magnificent remnants of Corfe Castle. This awe-inspiring fortress, constructed by none other than William the Conqueror in the 11th century, awaits our arrival. Prepare to be captivated by its ancient charm.

As we ascend back onto the ridge, a mesmerizing panorama unfolds, treating us to breathtaking vistas of the coast and its surrounding landscapes. As we descend, we reach the renowned Kimmeridge Bay, a haven cherished by avid fossil enthusiasts. From this point, we will continue east, following the esteemed South West Coast Path that winds along the world-renowned Jurassic Coastline.

Prepare to conquer challenging yet immensely rewarding trails as we pass notable landmarks including Chapman's Pool, Durlston Head Castle, and the charming town of Swanage. Our journey culminates as we approach the finish line at the beach, with the majestic Old Harry Rocks standing tall nearby. Celebrate your achievement by indulging in a well-deserved treat of salty chips and delightful ice cream on the beach.
