About the event
New for 2023. Can’t run or just don’t like it? The English Riviera Aquabike (bike, swim) is for you. It starts with a great sea swim in the warm waters of Goodrington Sands. Then it’s onto the bikes for a challenging loop around the beautiful Torbay countryside.

Our mission is to deliver excellent endurance sports events to a wide range of ages & abilities. Our events include triathlons & duathlons, open water swimming, gravel and road cycling sportives & road & trail running races.
We work #CENSOR# delivering excellent events. And that is a challenge as no venue is perfect and dealing with landowners, traffic, councils, the general public & other stakeholders can be tough.
In October 2020 we moved some running races, previously co-organised as part of the Wild Night Run Series, under the Sportiva umbrella. And in August 2021 we acquired some cycling sportives, previously run by Just Event. Like all event organisers we’ve had a tough couple of years with the pandemic but are hoping for a return to near-normality in 2022.
We couldn’t deliver these events without a great team of people including Helen Simcoe Walker, Nigel Evans, Dawn Lamerton, Rachel Harvey & Tim Mockford.
