This event is a part of a larger series of running events taking place at the Wodson Park Leisure Centre on bonfire night hosted by Zig Zag Running. If this event isn't for you, here is a selection of races taking place that you may like to try out:

Enjoy a firework-themed frenzy in the 6-hour Catherine Wheel Canter. Run for as long as you like to test your endurance on this 400m athletics track. The flat terrain caters to all levels of abilities, whether you are aiming for a PB or wanting to run further, tackle this course to earn your medal.
You will have 6 hours to complete this event, you are not tied to any distance you can run as far or as little as you wish. All entrants will be running around a 400m athletics track for the duration of the event. Therefore, you will be testing your physical fitness and your mental ability to conquer this rather unique challenge.
With plenty of time on your hands, there will be plenty of opportunities for participants to get a PB no matter what distance they race. The number of laps for each distance is outlined below:
Half Marathon: 52.75
Marathon: 105.5
50k Ultra: 125

Since 2000, Zoe of Zig Zag Running started running, starting from scratch with the feat of trying to get to complete a 5k, taking the couch to 5k training plan.
It just didn't stop there, over the years pushing herself, this self motivation eventually evolved into marathon running.
Zoe has completed numerous 10ks, many Half Marathons, over 150 Full Marathons, some Ultra Marathons, 5 Marathons in 5 Days, 52 marathons in 52 weeks, 10 marathons in 10 days, 100 marathons in 100 weeks, a 50k & a 50 mile Ultra marathon, with her target next of completing a 100 mile race.
Stephens background is in Hypnosis, therapy, sports coaching and Entertainment.
During the past 20 years we have both gained valuable experience in what it takes to organise a fun and enjoyable running event, we have also both met and made friends with some wonderful people who are such fun to be around, with useful advice, assistance and encouragement throughout the country and even in other corners of the world
