Castle Howard - Sun 25th July 2021

The Castle Howard event in July promises to be a memorable run on the southern border of the North York Moors. The rapturous reception afforded to previous Castle Howard Triathlons has led to this weekend event to be known as the sporting event of the North! The spectacular run course takes runners through the undulating Howardian Hills and boasts a finish that tops everything off in style – right in front of the main doors of the house.

The Castle Howard 10K follows the same route as the Half Marathon but only requires the participants to complete one loop. 10K is achieved when the Finish Line is crossed in front of the Castle itself.

The Half Marathon and Marathon will see competitors undertake laps of a spectator friendly almost entirely off road 10.5K circuit. Starting on the North Lawn, a few yards from the main entrance to the castle, competitors initially head downhill towards the Boathouse and Lake before circumnavigating the enchanting woodland garden of Ray Wood.
