Bristol Epic Trail Ruck

Back again in 2025, the original Epic Trail Ruck sponsored by GORUCK!

With some testing climbs, rolling terrain and amazing views of the surrounding areas - the Ashton Court route is exactly what the Epic Trail Ruck Series is all about - challenging yourself and using your fitness to explore some stunning locations.

As with all of our Epic Trail Ruck events, you can customise your entry and race it your way!

Pick your distance:

New for 2025 - we are offering two race distances at this year's Bristol Epic, our standard 10k option as well as a new 6k route option!

Pick Your Category:

We offer 3 options for every distance for you to choose from!

The Pro Ruck Category - take on the distance of your choice with the addition of a weighted backpack that we can provide you with on the day (25lbs/11.3kg for men, 15lbs/6.8kg for women- Ruck will be provided by us on the day).

The Novice Ruck Category - take on the distance of your choice with the addition of a lighter backpack that we can provide you with on the day (15lbs/6.8kg for men, 10lbs/4.5kg for women - Ruck will be provided by us on the day).

The Trail Run Category - i.e. take on the distance of your choice as a standard trail run!

GORUCK are our official partners for this series which means every single person signed up to either the Pro Ruck & Novice Ruck category will get to use their industry leading Rucker 4.0 backpack at the event.

Competitive or Just for Fun:

Everyone in the same category will start at the same time and will receive a finish time so it's up to you how you take on the course. You can push the pace and race against your fellow competitors or take the route on at your own pace. There will be prizes for overall winners in each category.
