About the events

Join this guided trail run with a difference, this run is all about HILLS! We will be exploring the hills of Box Hill and the surrounding area and you will be shown some hilly trails that are well off the beaten track. This route has been specifically designed to hit over 1000 metres of elevation in as short a distance as possible. Note that the route does NOT involve any hill reps, that would be cheating!

We will work our way through woodland, heathland and open fields. Some hills will be technical and some will have you on your hands and knees, scrambling to the summit. It will be a lot of leg busting fun and we will take the run at a steady pace, pausing at the top of each climb if we need to, this isn't a race but it will be challenging.

This run is perfect for those that are keen to get stronger on hills, fancy a challenge or are training for a mountain/hilly trail race.

Pace: This is not a race! We will run as a group and share this experience together. You should be able to comfortably run an average pace of 10 min/miles | 6 min/km for prolonged periods of time on the trail, and have a suitable level of fitness.

Kit: A full kit list will be provided, I have Salomon Sense Ride and Speedcross trail shoes available to test, please state your size during registration if interested.

Getting there: Parking is available. Full details will be provided.

Info: We will be in touch with further detailed information and instructions a few days before the run, if you haven't heard from us, please get in contact.

FREE BEER: Running Adventures have partnered with the wonderful Days Brewing Company, one of the most delicious alcohol free beers around. You can expect to receive a lush beer (subject to availability) at the end of the run to either enjoy with your new found running pals, or take home to have another time.

COVID-19: View our guidelines and precautions here. If the run is cancelled by Running Adventures due to COVID-19, you will be offered the choice of a refund or transfer to a later event.
