The Normanby Hall Adventure Race 2022
The Normanby Hall Adventure Race 2022

The Adventure run in 2021 was something special as for many it was the first 'event' back during the Covid era... for us and our charity partners it was so special to see people back, getting sweaty and enjoying themselves once again :)

In 2021 the event was held in May so mud was in short supply... but don't worry we're back to our March date so expect it to be back to usual!

Taking place over around 10kms of cross country horse course with water / mud / sand / crawl nets and jumps... lots and lots of jumps (plus we've now added hills and a swamp!) . Designed for ponies conquered by athletes :)

Everyone gets a cake and a medal, but you choose if you want to add a funky event t-shirt or hoodie. These are specially designed with a theme for each event and every year is different.

2022 tweaks

With our adaptations we did to support the public health guidance at the time it actually provided us with some good ideas and feedback from you wonderful people on how we could set up the event to make it even better :)

Open wave! To start the day off we have our traditional 'mass start' which is perfect for solo runners, pairs or those looking to 'race' the event. This allows you to test yourself, provides a clearer course or if you're a solo runner out for fun then you can join in with the masses!

Team wave! As the last of our open wave runners return back for cake and cuddles then it's time for the real fun to begin :) ... perfect for those pairs and groups out for fun! ... take your time or race, entirely up to you. We also welcome any solo runners wanting to join in the fun. ... we may have a few sneaky team prizes ;)

Do it twice! Yup we're still doing this ;) ... You'll set off in the first open wave and then we will set you off again at the start of the team waves (unless you're not back, then we will set you off in a later wave !)

Juniors ... we're so looking forward to welcoming back our bale jumpers :)
