Back by popular demand!! After the success of the inaugural running of The Gosfield Gauntlet last year, the Halstead Road Runners have decided to make it an annual event! 

The Gosfield Gauntlet is a Half or Full Marathon trail run in North Essex. The routes take you along some of the most beautiful footpaths Essex has to offer, meandering through ancient woods, past lakes, rivers and historic buildings. 

This is a narrative trail and you will be supplied with a written route description to follow on the morning of the race. 

The Gosfield Gauntlet is licensed by the Trail Running Association and is held under UKA rules.
