About this event

This World Water Day (22 March) join us in bringing clean water a step closer for the 844 million people who live without .  That's 1 in 9 people globally.

Can you imagine having to walk almost 8,000 steps - 6 km - every day just to collect water, which is dirty and not fit to drink?  Women and children in developing countries often walk this distance every day, which is 42 km over a week.

Together we can change this and bring clean water a step closer!  Why not take part in our Steps to Water challenge and walk, run or cycle 42 km across the month of March?

Complete the distance in your own time, wherever you like - whether on your own or with family or friends - to raise funds to support communities with sustainable safe water and sanitation, transforming lives.  Simply register here to join in for just £20, which will go towards Just a Drop’s safe water projects.

By signing up you’ll join our community pages, where you can log your distance every time you walk or run throughout March.  All participants will receive a Just a Drop t-shirt!
