The 9th Something Wild Festival has Devon's best trail running routes at its heart, a wonderful new venue and new routes, taking in the Avon and Salcombe estuaries and some of the best sections of the South West Coast Path

We are returning to the very special Hope Cove venue for the Something Wild Festival, which is the perfect spot, with the camping site, at the fulcrum of the race routes, overlooking the South West Coast Path.

Make this a summer to remember and bring your family.

This year, we are kicking off the festival on Friday with a family friendly guided run, which will be followed by a speakers evening and bar.

The Festival site

The farmer has Kindly given access to his fields, overlooking the idyllic Hope Cove, and you'll be hard pressed to find a better location to wake up to in the south west. close to ideal swimming spots in Hope Cove, East Soar and Bantham Bay.

The campsite is suitable for up to 50 tents, parking and camper vans, as well as and serving as the fulcrum for all our trail events, which is ideal for spectators. If you want to park at the campsite, tickets cost £5 for the whole weekend.

We'll be offering extra toilet facilities, as well as a festival tent for our speaker's and comedy evening.

Unique South West Coast Path Trails

We have lined up some of the best coast routes on the South West Coast path for our night run, 5k, 10k or half marathon, marathon and Summit Wild Ultra as well as kid's races.

We will kick off the festival with a night time run on Friday before the 10k and 5k and swim run events on Saturday and the half marathon, marathon and ultra on Sunday.

On the Saturday evening, there will be a film night in the main venue.

Forest School

You can drop your kids at forest school from 10am to 12 noon on either day, with our experienced and qualified forest school leaders, while taking part in the 5k or 10k race or one of our guided wild swims. To join the forest school, you have to have booked camping or weekend tickets.

Entertainment

There'll be music on Saturday evening and a speakers evening on Friday evening to kick start the weekend.

Other stuff

Kids races, a bouncy castle, local food, a drinks bar and a speaker's evening, comedy and film night. outdoor yoga, a wild swim and walks.
