Running with Refugees
I am challenging everyone to start 2017 with a marathon and stand in solidarity with refugees around the world.
You'll have the month of January to complete your 26.2 miles, however you like, wherever you like around the world. Simply register and pay a donation fee of £26.20 (all of which minus administration fees will go to support the UN refugee agency - UNHCR).
Run, log and share your experience through the Etchrock platform and, at the end of the month, you will receive our bespoke Running with Refugees medal.
Run, walk or crawl your way around 26.2 miles, and show your support for people making epic journeys around the world. As Syria’s war continues to rage, refugees fleeing the 5-year conflict face greater hurdles to finding safety, while international solidarity with its victims is failing to match and reflect the scale and seriousness of the humanitarian tragedy. By joining this challenge, your donation will allow UNHCR to help refugee children and families receive the life-saving relief and support they desperately need.
