Weekend at the races - 2nd -5th June 2022
About the event
Weekend at the Races is perfectly positioned to help us celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee this year. The event is based in the village of Moreton, near Dorchester.
We’re lucky to host this event on a family-owned estate that has been in their hands since the Norman Conquest, which means not many others run around it. By White Star Running standards, these races aren’t overly hilly, but it can be a bit demanding underfoot in places. Taking place over an extended Bank Holiday weekend, events include the usual 12-hour Frolic, full marathon, a 10-mile race and kids’ race. Then, new for 2022, a half marathon and a twilight 5-mile evening race to create an action-packed weekend.
Thursday – NEW Twilight Unicorn 5 Mile
Friday – Moreton Marathon, NEW Moreton Half Marathon, and Little Unicorns
Saturday – Unicorn Frolic
Sunday – Moreton 10 Mile

We organise races in some of the most beautiful parts of the UK, from 5K up to ultramarathon, and everything in-between. We like cider, cakes and a run around in the countryside (possibly in fancy dress).
