About the event

Until we can come together again in person we are launching a brand new virtual challenge to keep you training but also having a bit of fun and helping to raise money for charity too, and so in true Rocket style - we're taking you To The Moon and Back!

That's right Rocketeers, the moon is an average of 240 thousand miles away, so that's around 480 thousand miles to get there and back - don't worry, you haven't got to run it! We've set out a workout challenge below, with 240 exercise reps to get you there, a 1.5 mile 'moon walk', followed by another 240 exercise reps to get you back to planet earth safely- it's that simple! 

So get your Rocket kit on, do it in fancy dress, take plenty of selfies and record your run distance if you can, then upload everything to the Virtual Challenge Facebook event page. Entry is just £12 and every Rocketeer will receive a Rocket 'To the Moon and Back' virtual challenge medal - we will then donate 50% of the final event profit to NHS Charities Together. You have until the 20 July to complete your challenge, the day that man first landed on the moon,.
