It currently costs £15,000 a day to maintain their life saving service. You can find out more information on what they do HERE
FAQ
There are always questions that you might have, the common ones are answered below.
What will registration look like?
You will register online. About 7 days before event day we will send you an email. You will then need to complete the Competitor Responsibility Statement and Covid Health Screening Questionnaire online. This avoids the queue at number pick up. You must do this otherwise you will not be able to get your race number. If you have missed any email you can find it by going to your my.challenging.events account
When is the race briefing?
To avoid crowds we will do the race briefing via a video. This will be uploaded to your, my.challenging.events account on Wednesday before the event date
When will I get my race pack?
Race packs will be made 72 hours before pick up. They will contain your numbers, wristband and timing chip. You can collect this from 10:45am on Sunday. You must know your race number and ensure you either have a BTF day licence (paid when entering) or an in date BTF licence. If it is out of date you will need to pay £6 for a day licence.
Will there be an aid station?
You must be self sufficient. Ensure you have enough water and fuel to get you through the event. There will be a water station on the run. It will be just as you leave the pit lane. A marshal will be filling the cups with water (they will be wearing face masks and gloves) A second marshal will be collecting discarded cups. You serve yourself.
Can we bring spectators?
Yes please do ! Remember, its a live runway so spectators MUST NOT go onto the track or anywhere else other than the viewing platform or area infront of the race centre
Help! I dont have any emails about this event?
All missed emails can be found by going to your my.challenging.events account. You will need to log in with the same email you used to sign up or your booking reference. Have a read of the event briefing document there for further info regarding location, timings, etc.
