THE TORQUAY SPRINT TRIATHLON- 29th May 2022

Welcome to Tough Runners second edition of the Torquay Sprint Triathlon. We made our debut in Torquay in 2021, where we hosted our first ever Triathlon, and we are so excited to be returning!

Set to be one of the most exciting triathlons the UK has to offer. 

This race takes place in the heart of one of the UK’s most popular holiday destinations and comprises of a 750 meter swim, 18k bike followed by a 5k run to finish.

A crystal clear 750 meter swim in torquay beach.

A flat and fast 5 loop closed road bike course, finished by a 5k (2x 2.5km loops) run along the seafront.

Wave times will start at 7:30am until 8am (these times may change)

British Triathlon Federation Rules (BTF)

BTF rules, All competitors must comply with BTF rules, (it is recommended that you read the BTF rules and regulations which will be applied to this race). Non BTF members must be licensed to race which costs £6 and is payable to BTF. This cost is included within the non member ticket price.

Minimum age for competitors

The minimum age to take part in this event is 17.

British Triathlon Federation Rules

All competitors must be licensed to race, those non BTF members will be required to pay a £6GBP levy for a day license. This can be purchased the same time you collect your race number.
