The Rock Sea Swim

Start: 8.30am

The Rock is a fantastic 0.5 mile sea swim from South Milton Sands through the iconic Thurlestone Rock on a beautiful part of the South Devon Coast. Full safety coverage will be provided. It's an adventurous swim but not a race, although you can of course go at your own pace.

All entries will help raise money for  the South West Coastpath. We are hoping to make this a plastic free event in 2020 by using eco marking tape and stickers, disposable cups and birch wooden medals.

The swim is part of the Hard Rock Coast weekend in conjunction with the National Trust's Big Night Out and Big Day Out  weekend at South Milton Sands which will be a great day out for the family. We will provide a pasty for all swimmers on completion, as well as a bespoke medal and a swim cap.

 Parking is free unless you enter on the day, in which case it's £5. 

To enter, you must be a competent open water swimmer and be able to swim at least 800m in a pool. Swimmers need not wear a wet suit.

All particpants must  return their chip at South Milton Sands and collect their medal.
