Join us on the anniversary of Kett’s Rebellion for a guided trail run along the Kett’s Country Long Distance Trail.
The 18 mile route starts in Wymondham where Kett’s Rebellion began on 8th July 1549, and finishes just past Cringleford’s historic twin-arched bridge.
This route is full of history, nature and wildlife, making it a perfect trail for one of our guided trail runs. As with all our events, our hope is that it’s more than a run, and you’ll go home having learnt something new as well.

ESCAPE trails is run by experienced trail and ultra runner Neil Staveley, with help from a team of volunteer Run Leaders.
We strongly believe that trail running has a ton of benefits not just physically but also mentally. This is part of the reason why we set up ESCAPE trails to help people get out on the trails and start feeling, not just the benefits of running, but also of being outside in nature, and just as importantly to just have fun in a safe and friendly atmosphere. Our runs are planned to give you the support you need whether you’re new to the trails or you’re an experienced runner, all whilst running at a sociable pace. ESCAPE trails is not about racing or PBs it’s about having fun on the trails, and we make sure no one gets left behind irrespective of their ability.
