The Doncaster CITY Half Marathon 2026

2019 saw the return of the Doncaster Half Marathon to the town after 20 years. It took a lot of hard work from an amazing group of dedicated people! The 2020 and 2021 event was postponed due to Corona virus until the 12th of June 2022.

In 2022 we completely changed the event and had an incredible day!

The feedback was overwhelming. Our runners, the community and the volunteers were fabulous! 

But Covid impact took its toll on the event and runners, so we waited until the world was once again ready for the Doncaster City Half Marathon ... and now for 2026 the world is once again ready! 

For Curly's team (as with all our events) it's far more than a simple half marathon, with it comes a great opportunity to help inspire people into activity, raise money for amazing causes and bring something truly inspirational to the town... and if that's not for you then no problem, you can go out and have just have a great run (maybe even a sneaky PB)

The course will not disappoint those who are hoping for a fast yet challenging run and lot's of cheering spectators on the route!

Fully UKA licensed, chip timed, closed roads, great facilities, lively aid stations, superb support team, armies of amazing volunteers, with CAKE, medal, and FREE event photos to all finishers waiting for you at the end!
