About the event
A flat scenic riverside trail half marathon starting and finishing at the YMCA Hawker Centre, Kingston HQ, with spectacular views all along the Thames Path trail. The course meanders along the Thames Path out to the turnaround point at the Kew Gardens car park, then back past the race HQ on towards Canbury Gardens then returning just after the Boaters Inn Pub to complete the race back at the YMCA HQ.The route will be very well marked with fixed signage, ribbons and it will be marshalled at both turnaround points and throughout. Large bespoke medal to all finishers.Please note that our entries are non refundable and non transferable.

I ran my first marathon in 1999 in South Africa called the Umgeni Water marathon (South Africa) and really enjoyed the challenge it presented. Since then I have notched up 392 marathons (including ultra’s) worldwide in the 18 years that I have been running. My present goal is to complete a marathon in every EEA member state, I’ve currently completed 24 of the 31 member states. I am the Comrades UK & Ireland Brand Ambassador and having completed the Comrades Ultra 12 times it’s been my passion to mentor other Comrades runners and help them achieve their aspirations and goals.
