Swindon Ultra Trail Mini

This is a new event for 2023…

I want Trail running and my events especially, to be as inclusive as possible. I know ultra marathons are still quite a niche market and may not be to everyone’s taste. So I decided we could shorten the existing course, without reducing the adventure…

This “mini” ultra starts 5 minutes after the ultra runners, in the exact same place. And follows the same route up past Broad Town, on to the White Horse Trail, up through Bincknoll Castle and in to Broad Hinton. You will be able to refuel at checkpoint 1 (La Strada restaurant) before the long climb up on to the Ridgeway. Finally finishing at Barbury Castle.

At around 19km and taking in the vast majority of the ultra marathons vert, this we be a pretty good test for most.

So if you don’t fancy a full 50k, why not give this a go.
