Bike & Tyre Choice: Late July should be ideal conditions on the excellent gravel trails of the Surrey Hills and the west of the county. There are few technical sections and not much on the road so a gravel bike is preferred but mountain bike will be fine. On our recon rides we used 38mm Schwalbe G One All Rounds, anything with a similar tread will work.
