About the event
Now in it's 37th year, Marathon Eryri follows a route around the foot of Snowdon. A challenging and scenic course it's a classic in the racing calander

The inaugural Marathon Eryri was held in 1982, and was conceived as a dramatic alternative to the numerous city and town races becoming so popular. The demanding and spectacular route, encircling Yr Wyddfa, the highest peak across England and Wales, has given the event a unique place in the annual marathon calendar ever since.
