Back by popular demand... The Sika Trail Gazelle. We hosted this flexi-live event in February and the runners loved it. This time you have the whole of October to run the signposted Sika Trail route in Wareham Forest, Dorset. You can enter the single sika (11k), or the double sika (22k). Run the route any time of day in October on your own or with a bunch of friends. No self-navigation skills or map reading ability is required, as the trail is signposted with clear blue markers by Forestry England all year round.
Wareham Forest has a lot to offer. We often run there due to it's variety of long and short trail routes that aren't too hilly so can get a nice pace going. The Sika Trail is a signposted trail route frequently used by runners and cyclists. It's scenic, can be fast, and nice and open in the forest. We love this trail and hope you do too! You may even see a deer or two.

Flying Gazelle Running is a family run project based in Dorset, England. We have a passion for running and wanted to express this by creating race events that are flexible and tailored to you.
As qualified Clinical Psychologists working in the NHS, we have experienced first hand the benefits that getting outdoors and walking/running can have on a persons physical and mental health. So this is our way to promote running, make it fun and interesting (and also challenging), and support mental health by hosting events each year in which 100% of profits go to mental health charities. We also plant 5 trees alongside every entry, to improve our carbon footprint.
Our events are for any and every runner, from the beginner to the seasoned pro. The difficulty of any race is determined by how much the runner puts in. You can walk, run, or sprint... we leave that up to you.
