SF RACE SERIES THE BLACK MOUNTAINS | 20th - 21st AUGUST 2022

Situated deep in the heart of the Black Mountains in South Wales awaits a mountain range that will take your breath away in more ways than one. Steeped in history from the Bronze age, the Glanusk Estate plays host to one of our toughest aptitude challenges – The Special Forces Race Series

Indicative of its name, this is no ordinary set of events. Hosted and staffed by former UK Special Forces, these route marches have been designed to test individuals both physically and indeed mentally. It also offers a backdrop of such beauty and tranquility which we’re sure everyone who takes part will agree. Most routes venture over the very aptly named dragon’s back (Y Cryb).

All routes are fully marshalled so there is no requirement for navigation. Choose from the following events:

Original SF10 RACE

DOUBLE RUNNER (Sat & Sun SF10)

DUSKBLAZER (Evening Route)

SF TRIOLOGY (SF10 Sat & Sun and Duskblazer)

SF45 ULTRA (45km)

SF3 (3 miles) (8-15yrs) (Must be accompanied by an adult)

All apart from the SF3 can be undertaken with the following categories:

Loadbearing (35lbs)

Clean Fatigue

SF Loadbearing (45lbs) and Mock Weapon

Masters Loadbearing (25lbs)

Masters Clean Fatigue
