About the event
Running beautiful trails, watching the sunset with stunning golden colours hitting the Chiltern Hills is a memorable experience. Join us for a ~12km guided trail run in the Chilterns led by our local qualified guides. The route includes part of the beautiful Ridgeway National Trail, Britain's oldest road, with sweeping views down towards the vale below and provides the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Once the run is finished there will be the opportunity to head to a local pub, to get a socially distanced refreshment.
All abilities are catered for, and you will be placed into a small group with your own trail running guide, matched by ability.

Run the Wild is the UK's premier, dedicated trail running holiday company. It was founded in 2013, born out of the self-sufficient running and climbing adventures that its founder, Simon James pursued in his spare time. All of the team at Run the Wild are passionate about running; we often even get quite emotional about it! The company was founded to bring this experience of running trails in the wild; free of the usual race and logistical burdens, to you. We love exploring places, not just running races. We love meeting people and having an adventure together.
We want you to have an amazing time running and exploring some of the most spectacular trails in the UK and Europe. This is achieved by a professionally led running team, comprised of experienced, qualified lead runners, planned routes, full logistical support for you and your kit, as well as food and accommodation. You’ll be part of a small group of runners of similar ability to share the experience with. Your enjoyment and safety is our priority so you can be assured that you are in good hands.
