The Run On The Edge is a tough but scenic coastal 10k, and half marathon run on a spectacular but rarely raced, part of the SW Coast Path. Bring your friends for some Christmas cheer and yes we've hired part of the Edgcumbe Arms, the perfect refuge from shopping over at mainland Plymouth.
Make no mistake it is a challenging, route, which forms part of the new Wild Run and Wild Night Run Series 2021/2022.
The routes, which are out and back but marked, will start and finish at Cremyll at Mount Edgcumbe, proceeding towards the chapel at Rame Head, following mostly footpaths and dirt trails, superb for fining your stride.
There is a ferry from Plymouth, which will take you to Mount Edgcumbe. The first ferry of the day to Mount Edgcumbe, which we are subsidising is currently at 7.30am from Stonehouse, which should give marathon runners and parents and kids plenty of time to register.
This WR and WNR Series includes seven events, half of which are on marked courses at night and half of which are in the day. Points will be awarded for all categories, with overall podium places taking precedence for prizes ie you can not win more than one prize.
what's included?

NB: We are looking to add the marathon distance if and when we get full permission.
