CHALLENGER GAMES 2021 - THE CONCEPT
Challenger Games is a brand new competition from the team behind Rocket Race. Designed to bridge the gap between functional fitness training and obstacle course racing, the Challenger Games will push competitors to new limits in order to test all round physical fitness and determine who will be crowned Challenger Champion 2021, with trophies for male and female champions.
Taking place on Saturday 3 July 2021, the Challenger Games will see competitors take part in a series of fitness challenges throughout the day, building up to a final Obstacle Course Race in the early evening, when the Challenger Champions will be decided.
Each competitor will be scored individually in the fitness challenges, based on time and reps. Results from the fitness challenges will rank athletes for the Obstacle Course Race that evening, creating a level playing field in a straight race to the finish.
In order to create a fair test of fitness, Challenger Games will see competitors take part in a series of challenges unknown to them, until right before the event begins. The Challenger Games will test competitors abilities across a wide variety of different events, so prepare for everything, expect anything...
Entry includes a packed day of competition, culminating in an OCR race to the finish, a Challenger Games workout vest, epic medal and the chance to be crowned Challenger Champion and earn a coveted Challenger Trophy.
Registration will open at 7am ahead of the Challenger Games briefing at 8am. Please note that the Challenger Games are only open to those aged 18+
