Rocket Race Marshalls

Atlantis is a brand new alternative triathlon, consisting of SUP (stand-up paddleboarding), Cyclo-Cross and sprint OCR.

Atlantis will see competitors cover a 17k course, broken down in to three sections:
2k SUP: 2 laps around a the lagoon on a stand-up paddleboard
10k Cyclo-cross: a course of track, trail, sand and stone with a number of small hurdles over which a competitor must carry their bike
5k OCR: a short sprint OCR featuring some well-known Rocket obstacles

Atlantis is set at the stunning home of the Surrey Adventure Company’s SUP Lagoon at Buckland Park Lake in the heart of the Surrey Hills. We will be working with the Surrey Adventure Company's team to support the SUP and Cyclo-Cross parts of the course but will still need marshalls to help with a variety of roles including:

• Registration / bag Drop
• Finish Line/Medals
• Sprint OCR Course Obstacle Marshalling
• Transition area management

Our marshals are a crucial important part of our high-energy experience and we always get the most fabulous feedback about our marshal team, so why not come join the Rocket family?! We pride ourselves on having lively, enthusiastic, fun-loving people out on course, and we’d love you to be one of them.

Roles are allocated on the day, and we give a vital volunteer brief on the morning of the event which we ask you all to attend – we would ask that you are flexible and available to support us where we require the help. Don’t worry though, we will not ask you to do anything you are uncomfortable with.
