With it being national space day on May 6th 2022, what better way to celebrate than to run there. Space is 62 miles (100km) vertically from Earth. You can run that, right? Maybe not in one go, which is why we are giving you 100 days to complete this challenge. Walk, run, or skip... it's up to you. Just log the mileage before the 100 day deadline (August 14th) and you will be rewarded.
100 days to get to space sound too easy? Well get there as fast as possible then. There will be a live finishers table to add a competitive nature and prizes for the fastest there. Entry if for anyone and everyone (just not Elon Musk please).

Flying Gazelle Running is a family run project based in Dorset, England. We have a passion for running and wanted to express this by creating race events that are flexible and tailored to you.
As qualified Clinical Psychologists working in the NHS, we have experienced first hand the benefits that getting outdoors and walking/running can have on a persons physical and mental health. So this is our way to promote running, make it fun and interesting (and also challenging), and support mental health by hosting events each year in which 100% of profits go to mental health charities. We also plant 5 trees alongside every entry, to improve our carbon footprint.
Our events are for any and every runner, from the beginner to the seasoned pro. The difficulty of any race is determined by how much the runner puts in. You can walk, run, or sprint... we leave that up to you.
