RACE TO FREEDOM 10KM

At Maverick we have always been and will always be about more than just clocking up the mileage. We are here to create memorable experiences that combine trail running with great food, drink and brilliant company.

That is why we have decided to host the Maverick Race for Freedom event. Starting and finishing at the Freedom Brewery the 10km route will take you through woodlands, across rolling fields and along single track trails. Once you head under the finishers arch and have worked up a healthy thirst and appetite we will be taking you on a tour of the Brewery to see how a small independent Brewery operates. Yes, there’ll be plentiful opportunities for sampling the beers whilst we treat you to freshly cooked pizzas from the guys at Pizza Al Forno , as well as live music to really make bring that Maverick atmosphere to life.

The event is strictly limited to 150 people and therefore it is a truly exclusive event and will be a real celebration of our Maverick community. There will be time to get to know other runners around the fire pits over a few beers and talk all things trail-running and more. Trust us, you may come not knowing anyone, but we guarantee by the end of the evening you’ll have full tummies and many new trail friends as we welcome you into the Maverick family.

Due to the 150 runner capacity being only a quarter of the size of our normal events we know it will be quick to sell out. Everything for the evening is included in the ticket price and with the 10km run being suitable for all levels of running ability and experience we look forward to seeing you all for one #CENSOR# of an event
