RIDE OVERVIEW

A summer gravel classic in the Peaks taking in the heart of this stunning region. Starting in Hope, we take on the famous Broken Road up Mam Tor before heading south on backroads & gravel sections with glorious views in all directions. 100km off road will make a long day out but there are no difficult sections making this a perfect summer day out in the Peaks.

DISTANCE: 100KM | ELEVATION: 1,700M

RIDE DIFFICULTY 4/5

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY 3/5

PERCENTAGE OF ROUTE OFF ROAD 55%

Terrain & Bike Choice: After a bumpy start, most of the route is over backroads, old railways or smoother gravel. As ever, on the short technical sections a mountain bike would be more comfortable but for most riders we would recommend a gravel bike with 40mm tyres.
