About the events

Starting and finishing in St Martha's, Guildford, this run features some of the best parts of the North Downs Way and surrounding area, including the infamous Box Hill.  

You will be guided by myself, a qualified run leader and coach. This run is perfect as your first taste of ultra running, the route is taken care of and you will get the chance to learn from an experienced ultra runner, and get any running questions you may have answered.

We will explore the trails of the Surrey Hills, passing through small villages, offering beautiful views of the downs, before heading up onto the downs. We'll pass through Denbies Wine Estate before reaching our target, the top of Box Hill. Here we will grab a drink and some cake, take a breather and enjoy the fantastic views. We'll then make our way back to Guildford, following the North Downs Way 'westbound' before arriving at Newland's Corner and St Martha's church.  

We finish where we started in Guildford where we will say our goodbyes.

Pace: This is not a race! We will run as a group and share this experience together. You should be able to run 10 min/miles on the road, and have a good level of fitness. Ultra running first timers encouraged!

Getting there: Guildford has excellent transport links by both car and train. Full details will be provided.
