A stunning Triathlon with a swim in the beautiful Ellingham Waterski Lake, bike through the gorgeous New Forest with its wild ponies and horses finishing with a typically New Forest run with quiet country roads.

Middle Distance Triathlon:
Swim 1.9km (2 laps of Ellingham Water Ski Lake), transition run 1km, cycle 90km, run 21km
Run course cut-off: 8 hours
RELAY teams accepted of up to 3 people
Other distances:
Standard Triathlon: 1.1km swim, transition run 1km, cycle 33km, run 9km
Sprint: 400m swim, transition run 1km, cycle 33km, 5km run
Aquabike: 1900m swim, transition run 1km and 90km bike
Duathlon: 5km run, 33km bike, 5km Run

This event will also be supporting Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. HIOWAA is an independent Charity that brings an advanced Critical Care Team to the most seriously ill and injured patients in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, giving them the best chance of survival and recovery, when the worst happens. There are always questions that you might have, the common ones are answered below.
Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
Wetsuits are encouraged, we will follow the BTF rules regarding wetsuits. MANDATORY below Sprint / Standard 14º Middle / Aquabike 15º FORBIDDEN above Sprint / Standard 22º Middle/ Aquabike 23º
What will registration look like?
You will register online. About 7 days before event day we will send you an email. You will then need to complete the Competitor Responsibility Statement and Covid Health Screening Questionnaire online. This avoids the queue at number pick up. You must do this otherwise you will not be able to get your race number. If you have missed any email you can find it by going to your my.challenging.events account.
When is the race briefing?
To avoid crowds we will do the race briefing via a webinar on Wednesday evening. You will be emailed a google meets invite. Don't worry if you can't make the briefing, it will be recorded for you to watch when you can. You must watch the briefing. Any emergency updates will be communicated on race day, either via email or as you head into transition. Go to your my.challenging.events account.
When will i get my race pack?
Race packs will be made 72 hours before pick up. They will contain your wristband and swim hat. There will be extra registration desks to allow the queue to move quickly. You must know your race number before arrival. We encourage all athletes to collect their pack from Moyles Court on Saturday between 3pm and 5pm. For those unable to pick up their pack on Saturday you can collect on Sunday from Moyles Court at 5:45am.
Where is transition?
Transition will be inside Moyles Court School grounds. This is a 1km transition run on a quiet public highway from Ellingham Lake. We encourage you to bring footwear to wear to run this section back to Moyles Court School.
Will i be able to get coffee/food?
Yes! We will have our awesome coffee van serving hot drinks plus a catering van serving hot food, ideal for when you've finished! They take card payment.
What time does it start?
Sprint and standard will start between 6:45 and 7:25. Middle and Aquabike will start from 7:25am. Duathlon will start at 8:30am.
Will there be an aid station?
There will not be an aid station on the bike, you must be self sufficient with two full bottles. There will be a water station on the run course at roughly 2.5K and 10K and in transition. This will be stocked with energy drink, water, gels, bars, sweets and fruit.

Cycling Events
We host 3 sportives each year (and hopefully a 4th in 2021). With distances between 47 and 102-miles, our sportives offer something for everyone.
Running Events
We host 6 running events each year, from closed road, to beach and trail runs we offer 5K, 5-mile, 10K, half Marathon and full Marathon distances.
Swimming Events
We host at least 3 swimming events each year with two sea swims, at least one lake swim and possibly a river swim too.
