About the event

This course offers a new interactive approach to navigation, by offering the chance to learn from guest speakers with backgrounds in orienteering, multi-day racing and fell running. It offers a 50:50 theory to practice ratio and involves group work, Q&As and route plotting, using actual event maps. Refreshments are available in our classroom on Bovey Common, but we will head out to Dartmoor National Park to put the theory in to practise. Guest speakers and trainers include a world top ten orienteering champion and GB International multi-day athletes.
